			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What are the benefits of working from home?  Whether you&#8217;re a woman working from home or a work at home mom, the rewards can be great!!  What&#8217;s the difference in being a woman working from home and a work at home mom, you ask?  It&#8217;s simple, Not all women working from home are mothers.</p>
<p>The challenges are very similar:</p>
<ul>
<li>managing your time</li>
<li>budgeting</li>
<li>the feeling of isolation</li>
<li>not quite knowing what you want to do as a business and if you do know, how do you get started</li>
</ul>
<p>These are just a few of your concerns I&#8217;m sure but how do you work your way through them? Typically, most women will gravitate towards the beauty industry looking for a type of business that they can start on a small scale and grow it from home.  Look at some of the  mentors we&#8217;ve had to look up to:  Annie Malone (She taught Madame C.J. Walker), Madame C.J. Walker, Mary Kay, Estee Lauder and Naomi Sims. These were all great women helping other women to become very successful.</p>
<p>These women all started in the beauty industry &#8230; skin, hair, perfumes, body products &#8230; just to name a few.  I&#8217;ll be willing to bet that you&#8217;ve sold or know someone that&#8217;s sold one of their products.  And now you&#8217;re looking for a product to sell or create that will take you to your financial freedom.</p>
<p>Here are a few things to consider before you rush off looking to become the next &#8220;Blend Queen&#8221; of beauty products or begin to sell any product for that matter.</p>

<li>How much will it cost you to start your business from home?</li>
<li>Can it be done using the internet?</li>
<li>If you&#8217;re a mom planning your business from home, how will it affect your home life?</li>
<li>If you work another job and want to bridge your way out of your current job environment, will you have enough energy, time and money to make it happen?</li>
<li>How much do you know about running a business?</li>
</ul>
<p>This list will grow and decrease in size as you grow in the knowledge of how to run your business and become very successful at it.  But until then, you&#8217;ll have to become one very organized individual.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When it comes to creating content for your online beauty business you need to create a schedule and stick to it . By content I mean videos, pod casts, articles, and press releases etc. Distributing your content through directories and on your own blog and placing them on other people&#8217;s blogs is a great way to establish your brand on the Internet.</p>
<p>Make sure your content  includes tips, how-to-articles and information that will help your reader.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t make it complicated or over think it.  Have someone video tape you preparing a scent blend, or making potpourri, making melt &amp; pour soap &#8230; you get the idea.  If you haven&#8217;t started a blog yet or launched a website, you might be able to hit two birds with one stone.  Meaning!  You can have a wordpress blog that will enable you to create written content in the form of post and upload an image of your product in the post you&#8217;re writing.</p>
<p>You can put a price, a code and quantity field on your blog and ask them to pay you via paypal using the product information on the post.  It&#8217;s a great way to test your market, your product and the interest in your subject before you launch a full blown site.</p>
<p>The blog post will act as articles for your site.  You can also ask other site owners in your field or related fields, to post your articles on their blogs. Why? Because when they take an article from you, it gives them content that they did not have to write.  And, it makes them look as though they are helping their readers by giving them objective information. The link that you create in your blog post brings them back to your site to also read or purchase what you have produced.  It&#8217;s a win &#8211; win situation.</p>
<p>Pod cast are like talking to your friends.  There are services that allow you to have a conversation, record it and upload it to your blog and podcast directories, sharing your information with the world.</p>
<p>Every time you create a new product, you want to announce it to the world.  So, you do a press release.  This will allow your announcement to be known world wide and all eyes will point back to you because you&#8217;ve put your contact information and a short Bio in the press release.</p>
<p>These are just some of the ways to create content for your Beauty Business.  They are simple but not necessarily easy.  If you can&#8217;t write, then you will have to find someone who can write for you.  It might cost you a small fee but as start ups you don&#8217;t always have the extra money.  So an alternative might be to go to the Journalism or English department at the local college and ask the department chair for their top students and create an internship that will enable them to write your articles for you.  If your best friend is an article writer, that&#8217;s even better.</p>

A junk word is a word that gets in the way of the article message and dilutes the relevancy of the message. A few examples of these junk words are: the, and, if, at, about, &amp; of.</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 10.0px 0.0px; line-height: 13.0px; font: 12.0px Times New Roman;">If someone is searching for the phrase &#8220;Corn Commodities&#8221; an article or page that has been optimized for that exact phrase will gain higher ranking in the search engines than “Coy About Corn Commodities” because the words &#8220;Coy About&#8221; are  getting in the way and diluting the exact search term &#8220;Corn Commodities&#8221;.  This is very important to you – or should be – because the higher up you are in search engine rankings, the more likely it is that people will visit your website.</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 10.0px 0.0px; line-height: 13.0px; font: 12.0px Times New Roman;">Approximately five times as many people read headlines than read the body of an article. The trick in online marketing is getting the other four fifths of people to read the rest of your article or webpage, by creating very persuasive headlines.</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 10.0px 0.0px; line-height: 13.0px; font: 12.0px Times New Roman;">So how do you do that? Here are some templates you can use to create compelling headlines which will have people eager to read on and find out more of what you have to say:</p>

<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 10.0px 0.0px; line-height: 13.0px; font: 12.0px Times New Roman;">Don’t use ALL CAPITAL Letters. It makes the words more difficult to read. Use Title Case, which capitalizes the first letter of every word, even the minor ones.</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 10.0px 0.0px; line-height: 13.0px; font: 12.0px Times New Roman;">Be truthful and don’t over-hype in your article or webpage. Sensationalism just makes people not trust you.</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 10.0px 0.0px; line-height: 13.0px; font: 12.0px Times New Roman;">Don’t substitute a logo for a headline. They are not the same thing and the logo will mean very little to people in comparison to an informative headline.</p>
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 10.0px 0.0px; line-height: 13.0px; font: 12.0px Times New Roman;">Test out your headlines in split tests. Use different headlines on the same article for your split tests and you will soon see how important they are in terms of traffic and conversion.</p>

It doesn&#8217;t cost you any money to start.   All you have to do, is come up with the idea and a good headline,  which includes keywords.</p>
<p><strong>You should have good and timely information to share with your audience that they will find useful.</strong> Keep it short and simple,  somewhere between 400 and 800 words. When writing the headlines or titles for your articles,  make sure you include the major benefit that you want your readers to get from the article.</p>
<p>Be sure to submit your articles to some of the major article directories.  E zine articles.com is a good place as well as www.gotoarticles.com.  Be sure to put your contact information at the bottom of the article which is commonly referred to as the resource box.  You can also post your articles to your own website or blog.</p>
<p>Social media sites are also a good place to put your articles on your profile page. Be sure to also use keywords in the body of your articles.   If you have a database of subscribers, make sure to e-mail your new articles to your lists. You can also post your articles to your blog,  as well as asking other blog publishers to post your articles   on their blog.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Don&#8217;t wait until Thanksgiving to start thinking about your Holiday Promotions for your online beauty business.  The best planning time is at least 6 months out.  But you&#8217;d better have all of your ducks in a row if you find yourself in October and you&#8217;re just beginning your online campaign to promote your holiday gift items.</p>
<p>Here are a few things to consider when planning for your online holiday promotion for your beauty business:</p>
<ul>
<li>Create  image ads for your beauty products.</li>
<li>Send out holiday themed newsletters &#8211; a great way to remind your clients of gift items.</li>
<li>Create holiday product bundles for your soap, perfume, body products &#8230;</li>
<li>Check stock with your vendors and promote what they have available. Don&#8217;t promote a beauty product that you don&#8217;t have access too.</li>
<li>Create a shipping cut-off-date calendar for your customers.</li>
<li>If your budget permits and your beauty business is at the level of needing to hire extra help, Do It!  It will save you time and money in the long run.</li>
