When you begin sending email messages to your list you want to speak to them in a very natural and personal tone. People like to do business with people they feel they know, like and trust. If you communicate with them in a formal or corporate tone, they find it hard to relate and feel comfortable with you.
Feel free to use a little humor in your emails. Write as if you are sitting and having a cup of coffee with a friend.
It all boils down to the relationship you create with your list not the size of your list.
