How to Handle Vendors and Your Beauty Business

by on February 20, 2010

We promised you that we’d be truthful everytime we made a post to this blog.  We also know that we’ve talked before about vendors but we must let you know again how important it is to be extremely diligent when it comes to choosing vendors to do work for you.

A referral can mean nothing.  People who’ve done work without a hitch are all of a sudden not responding to emails and phone calls and have taken money from collegues not to be heard from again.  Not only have these vendors walked off with their money but they’ve walked away with their time and energy.  Don’t allow your time and energy to be drained.

If you’ve set milestone/deadliness with a vendor, stick to them.  If the vendor has not delivered by the first deadline, cancel the job because they are not going to get any better.  Let people that you are considering hiring know that you work on deadlines and time lines.  If they can’t work within the structure of what you’ve set up they’ll move on.

Your time is worth money but money you can almost always get back.  You can Never get time back.

To Your Success,

Juliette & Robert
