One thing that will distinguish you from the other people in your niche offering a similar product, is the relationship that you build with them. You want to make sure that you stay in constant contact with them. It’s a good idea to send them videos, podcasts, articles and interesting blog posts.
It is also a good idea to occasionally give tele-seminars where they can interact with you over the phone. It has been proven that people prefer to do business with people they know like and trust since you do not have a brick-and-mortar store and most of your communication will be via the Internet. You will need to use all the tools at your disposal to create a personable relationship with them.
Consistency is very important here. Try to set a schedule and stick to it. Even if it’s only once a week or twice a month be sure to be consistent.
It’s okay to make send email offers to your list to buy your products, but not too often. I wouldn’t recommend sending out an offer every time you communicate with them through e-mails or any other way. Use tact and space time in between product offers that you make to your lists so that you don’t seem to be too “salesy.”
Be personable and sincere when communicating with them. Imagine yourself sitting down and talking to a friend over lunch or coffee. Prospects or clients don’t like to be communicated to in a corporate manner, but rather a very friendly and relaxed manner.
Make sure you ask for feedback, encourage them to send you questions and ask for your assistance when necessary.
To Your Success,
Robert and Juliette
