We started our business without a system, a schedule and thought that multi-tasking was a great thing.
Wrong, Wrong, Wrong!
If you don’t put some type of system in place to handle your task, you’re screwed.
- You blog … set a time for blogging and make sure it’s done at the same time on the days you’ve got it scheduled.
- Email … check your email after you’ve done the important task in your business. Checking your email before you get your task done will rob you of precious time that could be spent blogging or recording a pod cast.
- No personal calls during work hours. Just because your friends know that you work from home doesn’t mean that they can call at will. You must teach your friends to respect your business and the hours in which you’ve set to work it.
- Don’t forget to schedule time for that special someone in your life. It keeps life interesting. Dinner and a movie are great but 3 day weekends are much better.
To Your Success,
Robert & Juliette
